My name is based on an old intenet chat group phonetic version of my name. Tim=Teme. However a friend of mine informed me that in Japanese saying the name Teme means SOB. I just added the honorific "kun" to become Mr. SOB.
It has the added bonus of never being used so I can get it on most sites.

Nickname.
I played a lot of baseball growing up. My last name is Bigler, and all my teammates called me "Bigs."
My two sons who played ball were given the same nickname by their respective teammates - without any input from me.
So I have graciously allowed them to use my nickname - for a small fee. (They have to go golfing with me at regular intervals.)

Team Silverback is my motorcycle road racing endurance team. You have to be over 50 to be a full member, but we occasionally let a youngster ride with us if he's really fast. We did pretty well in the ASRA Team Challenge series last year. http://www.ccsracing.us/points/2008/TCPTS.htm

928 Is My Favorite time Of Day. I try to remember to look at all my clocks at 9:28. Am and Pm. It reminds me of my favorite car. Something to do once in the morning and once at night. I also like the combination of numbers. They just look right together. It is uncanny how I can sometimes guess when it will be 9:28. I can be in the middle of doing something, look up, and it's 9:28 exactly. I have five digital clocks in my kitchen. Sometimes I will watch them all turn 9:28 and keep watching til they all turn to 9:29. Call me weird or whatever, but I feel there is a relationship between our cars and time. Maybe because the 928 is such a timeless design. I don't know, but I watch for my favorite time of day....like clockwork

My 2 favorite toys for the road, the 928 and my (old) Honda RC51. It is a special bike, stable at 170+ and tons of torque, does great wheelies, has a great exhaust sound, and handles amazing. Sold, but I had my fun. Only made from 2000 to 2007, and I could always buy another one... Or a Ducati 1198...

When I purchased my 2003 triple black Cab in 2003 I joined and chose Cabman4007,, 4007 was my street address in VA.
i got the turbo in 2007 and just never bothered to change my name.
I figure I will buy a cab sometime in the future so it will be appropriate again someday.
