Interesting thread that will end up in OT.
Mine is shortened version of the German word for lightning or flash of, "blitzstrahl" with blitz used as the prefix for 928.

My first automotive forum ID was on the Isuzu VehiCROSS forum. GAZ is my name's acronym.
Fascinating, isn't it.
PS - I don't think Randy is really going to move this thread to OT.

My parents named me Rob Edwards, and it stuck. ![Stick Out Tongue](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
On other car forums, I use Teutonic, but not here, where (ironically) it would probably be the most appropriate.

My name is Stephen Phillips and I want a 928 in the worst way, hence IWANNA928. It has always been my favorite car since the 70's. I quess I always steered away from buying one as I was afraid of crazy repair bills. I have always played with american muscle.
I have been a ford guy, old mustangs and my last was a 95 thundirbird SC with a 5spd, 1 0f 471. I built it with all the goodies and dyno'd a 367rwhp and 435rwtq.Not bad for a push rod 3.8L. Supercharged with 17lbs. Then it was stolen!
So I really loved that SC as it handled well for a heavy car and surprised a lot of others that didn't know what it was, but my heart just can't rebuild another all over again. It wasn't cheap either, my last engine rebuild was 7k.
So I am looking and looking and making a few post's to say hello.
I am leaning toward a euro, but I am really thinking hard lately of getting a 85/86 and putting a TVS 2.3 eaton blower on it with a forged bottom end, stroker not neccessary as that combo will be more than enough.
My buddy builds 6 sec 1/4 cars and does a lot of fabwork. He likes the idea and as I type I like it to. I will leave it up to the 928 gods and see what comes my way!
I hope to have a car to start playing with this fall!

Born and raised in Scotland I used my screen name when I raced motorcycles.
There was also a famous steam train that ran from Edinburgh to London known by the same name.
