Default Intake R&R question (84 spider)

In the coming weeks, I will be R&Ring my intake and surroundings.
The clamps on the rubber sleeves plenum/runners are estheticly toast.
All the ones(same type as original) I have seen in store are to wide for the ribs.

What did you guys do when replacing your's?
I already got the new sleeves so suggestion for home made sleeve is to late.
I suppose I can order them from Roger but i would like to see what you did.

For those wondering what happended with my electric problem; It is not fixed yet, waiting on some part to see what it will do.

thanks

Daniel can you post a photo or supply a little more info? I can't picture the clamps you're referring to.

Hi Dan,

I'm sure I read something about that while looking for info. for my intake R/R. I will seach and let you know if I find something.
If you can't find anything around that fits well, don't hesitate to ask Roger. I'm sure he can help you.
That's what you'll need:

Now I get it - you're talking about S2 or earlier and my experience is S4 only. Sounds like someone more knowledgeable has arrived though!
