86.5 belt change issues.
We never warmed out the car this is the first time brought up to temperature.
We replaced the whole timing belt assembly and have the following issues:
Hearing a rattle that was not there before the belt change coming from somewhere but have not Id it yet.
We pulled the passenger side cover off and looks ok on the belt.
We are getting a low power and hitting the gas very little power on engine.
Cats are getting really hot.
Leak from Auto transmission lines above the cats and need to replace them I am assuming.
I think the cats are plugged the timing was set the other night by firemed so I think we are ok with that.

Years ago..... Wally caught me doing this stupid trick once too
and mine were marked with tape just like yours.
Ok - I'm guilty.....
I changed them around when I found out there was no Landshark lager.

If the cats are glowing shut the car off and find out why??
The trans lines should be replaced B4 you run the car again or like Joey you will have a bon fire

We have the exhaust loose now and will drop it, I am thinking the cats are plugged, any way to be sure? Hoses will be replaced I hope we can find them locally, any magic to this will a lot of fluid come out I doubt it because they are on top..

I used my Maf !
We took the cat off and used compressed air and cannot feel any air blowing through! I'm not sure if this is a good way to test it, screen looks black but not clogged on the exit side.

Most shops have a adapter that screws into the O2 sensor bung that has a nipple on it for a hook up to a old time fuel pressure gauge, or you can make one with a spark plug and a welder.
Anything over 3 PSI is to much.
As far as taking the substrate out of a cat, I have heard that some folks have used a long piece of pipe or a long chisel.
I have never done this, but I have had to replace mufflers on cars that had chunks of substrate in them, from other folks trying to knock them out, so get them clean.

We drove the car to the end of my long driveway and absolutely no power. I tested a old cat from an 86 with a shop-Vac and they both flowed the same amount of air.
This must be an timing issue, but we set it with a porken tool. I checked and at 0 the cams are real close to the mark.
When we drove it into the garage it ran better then after we did the timing belt, I need to figure this one out but running out of options.

If I were you, I'd ask Crazy Mike for a refund.
