Well it looks like I will not be able to drive the 928 for the next 2 months, not because it is on stands for a TB/WP job or intake refresh...................but because I managed to break my leg and needed surgery to fix it!!!!

I am so bummed out, it is my right leg..............so no driving and no wrenching and a whole host of other "NO's", not to mention missing out on the whole summer.

The worst part being no motoring, my wife will be able to drive the stable a few times in the month, but for now I am demoted to hobbling out to the garage on crutches and just starting the cars...............

So if anyone is in the Champaign, IL area.............I need a car walker (kind of like a dog walker, but for cars).

Your responsibility's would include having to drive a 928, Jaguar XJS and Triumph TR6 weekly. I know this sounds like a tough job, but there must be someone out there willing to take on the extra work?

Payment will come in the form of the roar of the engine and the wind in your hair..................any takers?

I play in an adult rec ice hockey league, been playing since I was a kid, now an adult at 37 years old!!!! First broken bone in my body, surprised it took this long.

BTW, not driving those cars for 2 months ain't gonna hurt them, worry about getting better soon!

 

And narcotics, they make one hell of a combo.

 

I gave up on the narcs 5 gays after surgery, I would rather fell a bit a pain then be clouded in the head...............the gave me a 2 pill cocktail of a sedative and narcotic and man it sent me into outer space!!!! I was in a fog for all 5 days, that sucked, nothing worse then not being able to focus and see things clearly.

Thanks for the well wishes................not much I can do now except recover.

That totally sucks! Eats half of your driving season up. Nothing you can do now. Get well and then tell the wife you need to take extra long drives as part of your rehab!
