wonder if I can just get a place to start with my interior lights.
No interior lights work- door, overhead, hatch (glovebox works)
No dash lighting works when switched although all the idiot lights work, gauges work- the car knows this because it turns on the [!] after a few seconds of lights being turned on.
Cigarrette lighter does not work
Fuse is good. where do I start looking on this?
thanks

there is a fuse thats inop get a fuse relay chart here www.928gt.com. Disconnect the battery and then remove all of the lights inspect them any that are melted should be replaced, insulate all of the power wires with some fresh heatshrink

Start by finding Plug T on the Central Electric Panel and check for 12 vdc on the red wire in the bottom left slot. If there is no power, the problem is in the Central Electric Panel. If there is power, the problem is in the light circuit or switched ground circuit.
Since you have owned 928s, I assume that you know how the lights should work...
Dash light problems are usually the dimmer.

I also didn't pull the dimmer yet to check it because none of the interior lights work either, so I thought they might be connected. I will get into this and see what I can find.
