Hi Bruce,
I have spent many hours searching for this part with no luck.
Searched dealers here in the States and Europe.
No longer availble.
Lets hope someone knows something I don't.
Roger

PS: The rears were still available a while ago.

Roger is an excellent source. There is also 928 International and 928 Specialists, Parts Haven, 928Worldwide (Mason?) all except Part Haven (Heaven?) post here. All of them have used parts and some also deal in new or aftermarket.

If none of the usual places have them, maybe they do here?

?Was ABS available on 85 Euro's, as my US 85 doesn't have ABS and it supposedly only became available with the 86 1/2s?

Ed,
I can't remember the break, but yes it was available on the '85 Euro. Might of been only as an option then, like my '84 Euro.

Then wouldn't a 84, or 86 sensor work for an 85?

I think the '84-85 sensors are same, but different from the later ones.

With all the cars being parted out as of late, should be a decent used one laying around.

Early 86 USA has antilock. Has exact rotors and calipers as 84 and 85, if that helps at all.

84 on where available with ABS - twin dizzy cars as far as I can see.
ROW cars and the same part numbers for the ABS through to 86.5 than they changed to the later style.
Dan's link seems a possibility. I will talk to them tomorrow and make sure they do have them.

Hi Roger

If not, I just had a brand new one fitted by Paul Anderson in the UK.....I could always ring him for you and ask where he got it....

All the best Brett

Hi Brett, I take it that the 928 you are describing is the iris blue 1986 year type at the bottom of you're thread , if it is then we have that type of ABS sensor in stock as well , the one that fits a 1986 onwards was standard fitment by Porsche and is completely different design to the earlier 1985 type , so in other words the the Euro spec 1985 928S with the option of ABS is very much the odd one out , we could call it the prototype .
Regards .BB.
