Makes the throttle 'feel' lighter.
But that's just my opinion.

Nice metal work, SRP.
I agree entirely. Pictured below is the standard way we make our Grid pedals. Grip on the brake, smooth on the gas. I just started making the Grid pedals with the Grid on the gas recently due to requests from customers.

Mini Grid Pedals with the Trim Ring and Grid on the gas and footrest. I have been working on making the Grid machining on the gas pedal not as grippy as the brake and clutch. These pedals have flat-top grid machining on the gas pedal, versus the pointy topped grids on the brake and clutch.

Pedals with the updated Grid machining on the gas pedal. The pedals match very nice, but the gas pedal has far less grip than the brake pedal, allowing your foot to slide across it properly.

Is the less grippy grid another option or standard if you order a grid on the gas pedal?

What other changes are you planning? Every time I go to order a set, you change something else for the better. I want to be sure I get all the updates.

The less grippy grid is what you will get if you order the Grid on the gas pedal. I am probably going to put this on the footrest too.

I apologize for all the updates. I think at this point I am done for a while updating the pedals. I am extremely happy with the performance and the looks.

I get this question all the time, “How come, on the Grid sets, the gas pedal and footrest don’t have the Grid machining on it?” Ideally you want your foot to slide across the gas pedal smoothly while applying the throttle. This is the reason the factory gas pedal is smooth, hard plastic. And this is the reason we make our gas pedal smooth. With the gas pedal smooth we decided to make the footrest and gas pedal match as it just seemed to look better that way.

With all of that being said, I have updated the website to allow ordering the Grid pedals with the Grid machining on the gas and footrest. This adds a considerable amount of time to the machining process, but I have decided to offer it as a NO-CHARGE option (this may change in the future).

------------------------------------
I have updated our Grid pedals with a trim ring around the edge of the pedals. This gives the pedals a more refined look. The pictures below should make it clear what this option looks like. This is a NO-CHARGE option.

I would like a set - with all your updates. How do I order? Your web site doesn't seem to offer the "no cost" lighter grid on the gas pedal and boarder options mentioned here.
