Default Will These Fit - 18" 996 Turbo Wheels

Fitment calculator says yes, but would just like people's experiences of them on their cars?

Cheers

Please tell us what car you will be fitting them on?

Generally, yes.... with a little bit of work.

Rawky

I have those wheels on my GT and alot of guys on here have them to, i take it you have an S4 you will need to use a baseball bat to roll the rear fenders or a good body shop might have a rolling machine.

They really suit the car , such a great look

See may avatar LOL. Fit is good on the rear no spacers, front must have good shocks and > 160 mm ride height to keep from rubbing. Tramlining is minimal and handles good.

Cosmo,
I would not suggest the "blanket order" on the rears. You must be running narrower width rear tires (275's)?
IMHO, 275's are too narrow for 11" wheel. Marginal at best. Might as well use 10" wheels.

I suggest using at least 285's, with no spacers. You will be tight on your fender lip, with your benefit being you have the tight "hemmed" fender lip.

Also since his is a '91, he has the thicker fender liners on the inside wheel well, which will require him to have spacers (3-6mm, Andrew?) if running >295's. And will have to roll fender.

The PO put them on my car and I think they look great, and ride awesome. I have a 1980 5-speed, and the PO (or PO before him) rolled the back fenders and even put spacers in the coil-overs, so it rides a little high, but I personally like it a lot:

Thanks everyone,
One quick question, totally unrelated, but how do I tell what shock absorbers my car is equipped with??

Cheers

Pretty sure these colors are correct

Black = Boge oil
Gray = Boge gas
Anodized gold = Bilsteins
Red = Boge sport shocks or aftermarket Koni

You are right, I do have 275's and they are borderline but approved to run on an 11" wheel. I have enough clearance to run a 285 without rolling and 295 would be right on the borderline. With my 275's I can fit my index finger in between the tire and the wheel well, so a 295 would be 10 mm larger inside and outside.

Only Bilsteins can be rebuilt, all others you toss away. I think Bilsteins only came standard on pre-S4's with sport suspension option, after that they started using red Boge's.
