More GREEN wire fun with Pics
I hadn't posted on this problem yet because I wanted to trouble shoot it before I did. Well the shark stranded me yesterday on the way to work. It would just die out of no where. Talked it up with the guys at work and it seemed like it might be water in the gas. problem seemed to crop up after sloshing the gas tank on turns. Put some HEET in the tank and had no more problems yesterday. Drove the car to work today and again at the same place car died. Same exact thing. Started pulling relays checking for click all seemed good. Got the car started again and got to work finally. I thought I had a fuel issue with my fuel regulator or dampeners. Started fishing around on the engine and all of a sudden the car died exactly like before. Started the car backup and figured out it was the green wire that was causing it. Here's what I found:
Forgot to add that this plug is a MB part. I fixed it by splicing the wires and then heat shrinking them. Not the preferred fix but functional until I do the wire harness and green wire. Car is running better than it ever has. It also isn't running rich anymore. It's run rich since I got it

With age they will fade, which might lead to a bit of confusion.
Green wire is anyone that goes from the dist to the 14 pin area.
