Adding this info to the mix I now REDUCE my price to no more than $2k...since the engine must be totally trashed.....

Looks like a pretty nice car. Hopefully it won't end up getting canibalized for parts.

Well whomever might get it, let me know if they decide to part it out, as it would be nice to have spare parts for sure.

I think it's too much as well, I tried to arrange a meet with the seller later than he closes at 5:30 without any luck. Did any one notice in the pictures that the rear spoiler is half ripped off. Probably vandalized. The car is located at a junk car dealership in a rough part of Panama City.

Well it might still be worth contacting the seller afterwards to see if he did actually sell it or not. As it seems, this has been listed a few times before.

Looks like we have more panhandle sharks than I thought. We need to have a get together in Destin.

My '89 didn't run when I bought it. I put a battery in it and it cranked right up. Surprised me to say the least. Now, that is not to say that it didn't need a WHOLE bunch of work, but it did run when I got it home

FWIW I exchanged emails with this guy about the car about 2 months ago when he had it on autotrader. I don't know what his story is now but he told me then that it had a spun bearing.

I think a spun bearing is better than a TBF right?

Funny

I have a car that runs and drives and i havent even gotten an offer on it, and its not much more then this thing with a completely trashed short block, which BTW cannot be rebuilt on any kind of a budget, its literally trash.
