Good points both for and against.

Here's an example though. That Bosch Fuel Injector electrical connector thread. I could have added to that those connectors are sold at Autozone for about six bucks and even given the part number for it so that in the future someone who needed one right away could have gotten one locally and been done with it.

Now I can't, without starting another new thread about it and there's hardly a point in that.

Ryan... I think he gave the answer here. While yourself, Devilinblack and others would like to give useful information to those in need -apparently he wants to keep the solutions to himself.

Nah... that couldn't be right could it Mongo?

I had thought the farmer who grew Lupins was at fault but Dennis Moore got involved and robbed stage coaches of the rich and gave the Lupins to the starving poor who were in dire need of food.

Then King Arthur attacked French castles in search of the grail but that resulted in bringing out the dead and then there was that witch who weighed the same as a duck that floated as did wood.

Then there was cheese and dead parots and the ministry of silly walks and............and..............and.....

Whats this thread about?

Ryan does bring up a good point, once a thread is closed it cant be returned to the front for further info sharing.
Mongo If you cure a problem with one of your situations it would be most helpful to add that info to the post.
. The post once closed will just fall behind all the others.
Mongo would you please open your closed posts and add any info on your current solutions, thanks Stan

Man if it bothers you that much... check the crank reference sensor thread as that supercedes my 3-year old thread and the diagnosis there. Man ya'll really need to drink what I'm drinking right now.

Injector thread? Why would I want to pry business away from Roger?

God gave us the gift of PM.

God also gave us the curse of attitude.

We ignore the gift and embrace the curse. Sounds irrational to me. I didn't PM this because I am too lazy. But the thread hasn't been closed yet.

Not at all a matter of prying business from Roger. If someone lives in Hell, Liberal Communist Hell, and needs the part right-freaking-now, Roger isn't a choice. Hell, I'm right down the street from 928 International and last time I asked they didn't have them, so why not give someone an option that they may be able to find locally to fix a problem that could be keeping their car from running?
