Default I am not having any problems with my 928

You saw the title correctly, my car is running perfect.

1. starts right away even on a 40 degree morning
2. idles perfect
3. clutch works as the factory intended
4. transmission shifts with no grinding
5. too long of a list, you get the idea.

We only hear about the problems, use this forum to share with everyone how well your 928 is running.

If you are having issues, stay out of this thread!!! Even if you have a small issue, like a window leaks - just don't mention it. This is a 100% positive only thread.

Here is why I started this thread:

Careful Erik.....the 928 gods are not kinds to those who are boastful (except MK)....you must make an immediate sacrifice to the 928 shrine....followed quickly by several

My driver side seat heater is not working, one of the dash vents is broken, the leather on the dash board has cracked, the gas gauge shows about 1/4 tank too low, the intake flappy only opens about 55 degrees, one of the crank-case breather lines is loose, there's a plastic piece that is detached from the roof lining, and I'll have to uninstall the useless but cool looking radar detector from the '80s.

On the positive side, I've put about 1200 miles on it in two months. That's more than I have driven our other three cars combined over the same time (M5, M45, and 997 CSC, all '06).

Make it start on a 5 degree night like mine does and I'll be impressed.

My car is my DD and is running perfectly. Shifts smoothly, idles and runs strong, the stereo is set up EXACTLY the way I wanted it and the seats are more comfortable than my favorite recliner.

Good thread.

What problems?

No problems with my Shark, everything works like the designers intended, i suppose?
Which should not come as a surprise for a car that new cost more than a decent home..

Other than that, there is always the opportunity to try to IMPROVE something, but that is an entirely different story!
Come to think of it, the 928 forum is not all about problems, as there are lots of descriptions and ideas and reviews of different improvements and customisations one can do to the shark.

I can't think of anything not working on mine.

This is my 2nd 90GT, and they've both been very reliable.

Are they cheap to maintain? No. Are they reliable when you do? Yes.

Schnittzle ran flawless today. She's just gangbusters since the rebuild. Hoping to hit the giggle gas soon, once the rings are broke in.

I drove the sh*t out of my 89 GT at a PCA DE last month and at SITM last weekend and it loved every minute of it. It seems the harder I drive it, the better it runs. My rear wiper isn't working but there's usually nothing to see back there, not for very long anyway.
