Light bulb burn out

Light bulb burn out
Previous owner had this bulb installed on my 90 GT:
and this was the result...
I used a parts diagram from autoatlanta.com to find what might need replacing but it didn't have a definitive part number or name. I assume the wiring is okay and I would just need to replace the connector housing (although where it was burned it looks like the metal strip is also done for). Does anyone know the part names of what I need to replace and/or advice for the procedure? Thanks for the help

The bulb size is a "9004" halogen bulb. That is an 80w bulb and drawing alot of voltage, hense the overheating. Standard wattage is 55W. The connectors are very common to locate same as most other veh. requiring the same bulb. Can be found in the connector or "help" section at most auto parts stores. Usally comes with a short harness to splice them in. I would check a little rarther back in the harness to make sure the insulation is not overheated and brittle.
