Here's a formula, DK spent about $800 in fuel last year, and fuel was about $3.50 or so a gallon at the same time last year. That's 228.57 gallons, over approx. 2300 miles which includes some miles for driving around Banner Elk. That's a 10 mile to the gallon average......and he was getting way way less than that on the way up there last year......
