If you want a "WOW" result toss the techron and use about a pint of Berryman's B-12 in 1/2 tank. If the problem is crud and varnish, that will do more to clear it out than a whole bottle of Techron 1 oz. at a time.

So did the techron/berryman's work with this issue? I have the same issue with my '84...

Mine cranks better when cold, than when it is hot.... I have to let it run about 2500 rpm for 30 sec or so before it will idle correctly...

Seems to be at its worst if I park the car for 1-4 hours and then crank again....
