Linderpat stranded in South Dakota
#49
Completely OT, the Scary story brought back vivid memories of a night in a rundown Bed and Breakfast house in Dartmouth on the south coast of England after the yacht we were delivering decided to break bits of it's rig.
Landlady related to Herman Munster, pipes clanking and people walking about all night, although nobody there when you dared open the bedroom door, shared bathroom (didn't want to share it), a bed that had sagged so much that they'd turned over the mattress over, forcing Rhonda and I to cling together so we didn't fall off.
At 4 in the morning we woke up yet again and watched the TV news that Princess Diana had died and by 5 we were out of the place missing our paid for breakfast.
