Default Caravan from AL to SITM

I am driving the shark this year to SITM rather than towing it. We are planning on leaving Friday morning around 4-5 am. We may go through Chattanooga or Atlanta. Woody, Mark, Mike, etc, what are yours plans?

Not sure exactly what time I'll be leaving (depending on my work situation I might have a lot of flexibility or no flexibility at all--won't know until the last minute) but I'm planning on leaving Charlotte sometime Friday afternoon. I might be able to join up with you if you're headed this way via the 85.

We haven't set a time yet but we'll be leaving Friday morning as well. Let us know where and when and we'll be there. I'm not sure if it's on the way for you guys but you're welcome to meet at my place if you want since we're near 85.

Sounds good guys.

Mike, let me know what time I need to be at your house. I think check-in is about 3 pm and we would like to get there about 1-2 hours before that (if possible).

This is the route we are planning to take. We'll be passing by pretty close to Dahlonega. I'm sure there is somewhere along the way that we can meet. Hope to see you Friday morning.

Any reason to not take I-85 instead? Google shows that as being slightly longer but almost 1/2 hour faster. Or is it because of more twistes
