Also I am looking for a temporary insurance for the car during this trip, since I am from Puerto Rico, my insurance wont cover this trip. Any ideas, please let me know. Thanks again for all the info. Can wait to begin my road trip next week.

Hi and congrats on your nice lookig car.I am sure you have other vehicles and are insured.I think if you can get temp tags from Utah you will not have a problem driveing the car to Fla with your existing insurance

Here is an update, I already pick up the car, good condition, need some detail but very original. I drove the car already for about 340 miles without problems. The car is today at Motorsport (Dave and Garrity are great persons, too bad I dont live here, great shop, take the tour already). hansome 928s GTS there. I will begin the road trip across EU tomorrow.

My advice is not drive it til you know the car is right. I bought mine off ebay and it was in excellent condition. When I got to the car it was a pile of crap and over heated within a block of driving. Don't trust it till you know for sure. I used DAS to ship mine from VA to OK. They were great and recommend them.

It's good you had the car taken care of before starting the journey. Breakdowns are no fun!
If you get the chance, get off the main highway from time to time and fly thru the back country twisties. I did this thru WV and MD, and also thru NE. It really adds to the fun factor! Keep us posted with pics.

Here is an update, I am still on the trip, the car is running perfect, what a car to drive long distances. I even change the trip and go to Chicago IL to see some of my family, now I am already near Jacksonville, the car will be send to PR tomorrow. I will leave wed morning, so sad... Thanks Garitty and Dave from Motorsport in Salt Lake City for making all the tune up in the car before this looong trip. Today a 944 pass me, we salute each other, then a new 911 pass and he salute with joy when he see my car. During all the trip, I only see one 911 (84-89) , one 924 and 944 on the road. Will keep you informed when the car gets home next week, It will take about 7 to 8 days by boat to get the car to Puerto Rico.

Hey, thanks for the updates. What a great trip!
Your first stop was a very wise one. Sounds like you're having a great bonding experience with your new car. Enjoy! (and keep us posted)
and congratulations!

Glad to hear the trip is going well, I was beginning to wonder after not seeing you post for a while...I was wondering what little small town jail you were sitting in and how fast the speeding ticket was for.
I hope it was a long trip full of good memories.
