it doesn't look that bad to me, but the pictures is blurry and I'm no engine expert either...Doc will know the answer....
The good news is individual stock rods are cheap and easy to come across if you need a replacement

Greg's got it...won't hurt a thing. Cracks don't start there. Smooth it out, if you desire, with a little piece of wet and dry and move on. The tiny depression left behind will not hurt that surface.
