Keep in mind the contingent that gets together in Waynesboro VA Thursday evening and heads out on the BRP 9AM Friday- great way to get to Spruce Pine!

I plan to meet up in VA Thursday night. I have a orientation with my son at the University of Maryland Thursday and I plan to leave from there. He is staying overnight at UMD.

Hey Wayne (wg928):

How do you guys get to 81 in VA? Do you drive around DC and pickup 66 or do you drive out route 70 from the Baltimore Beltway and go through Harper's Ferry? I believe the 70 route is quicker and avoids all the DC traffic, unfortunately is doesn't avoid the Baltimore traffic but by 9:30 on Friday morning may not be a problem.

The route through Harpers Ferry is a nice drive and a good break from all the interstates.

Thoughts?

Bob

The last few years we have been taking the 70 route to avoid the traffic. Depending on whom else hooks up with us, we may be taking that route. Mike in Bowie was planning to attend , but I have to get a confirmation on him. It would be great if we all can meet at 9 AM and head out together. Who's in?

I'm definitely in!

If my brother-in-law (Micky, who you all met at Hershey) decides to go, I'll need to go out to Frederick to pick him up, which would be really easy, since he lives right at the intersection of 70 and 340. I won't know until later this week. I'll let you know. Worst case we can meet up on 81 somewhere.

In the meantime, I've got the shark up on jacks and all the brakes taken apart. Wow what a f*&^king PITA that was getting the rotors off. OMG! I swear (and DID swear) that they were the original rotors. Wait 'til you see how nice the new rotors and "painted" calipers look!! Well, I've got to finish them first, but that is the plan for SITM!

Better check and be sure, IF you don't register you end up with a hand written name badge, you don't get a free 928OC t-shirt, you don't get a ticket for the Door prizes.... PLUS you don't get to hug Jeannie.

Is that enough incentive to take 30 seconds and fill out the online form to help us plan the event???? If not, let me know and I can add more to the list :-)

See ya soon and have a safe trip.

PS, and don't bring any of those dang NY RATS down here with you !! :-)

OH, Jeannie just said it IF you are unsure, it is always better to register twice than not all because she tosses the duplicates when that happens.

PLease do not mention Ticket and Wayne in the same sentence.

Curious how this year's registration form has no mention/field for T-shirt sizes.
Everyone gets a X-Small.

Ernest, you can have all the x-smalls!

Wayne, if your going to drop the tank off at Sharky's house, I'll just meet up with you there. (it's maybe 2 miles)! And thanks again for the extra "hole free" gas tank! Hey with two tanks I could make the trip in one fill-up!?!

Ticket? Wayne? Inquiring minds want to know!

If I95, then drive at speed of traffic. Not much more.
The cops are crawling on I95. Especially in Joisey.
NJ is revenue short and would like your money.
I've tried looking for their hiding spots but haven't been able to find them.

All I see are people pulled over getting the 'talk.'
