BTW, driving this car is as close to driving a new 928 as I think I will ever get, except for the 383 rwhp..... Absolute 928 **** at every turn.

Your car is a work of art Dan .. absolutely beautiful, and a credit to everyone who worked on it.
Truly a car that Porsche would regard as a fitting evolution of their original design, construction and quality. The finish, style and color scheme is just stunning ..
I hope I can see it one day.

However, I hope you're wrong when you say: "The result is indeed the penultimate 928." It might be the best 928 and, therefore, the ultimate 928, but let's all hope it's not the penultimate 928. Penultimate means "next to last". If it truly were the penultimate, there would be only one more great 928 to come. Too many of us plan to follow your lead for that to be true.
