Here is the double deploy clasp for our watches

They showed up a couple of days ago, but I was caught up moving one of my stores to it's new location.
Sorry for the late post

But here is the deploy clasp
$24.95 for anyone who wants one
The finish is Satin, not bead blasted like the case, but it's not too noticeable.

I'm ok with it, fits the custom strap perfectly

Chris - I don't understand how the "Deploy" clasp works. Can you post more pics or perhaps a YouTube vid?

I don't have a video camera, I did, but my daughter broke it

The deploy basically pulls open from each side of the strap. This will make the strap last quite a bit longer since you don't need to pull the watch through the 'tang' style buckles that really rip up a strap.
Plus they are comfortable and make the watch sit more centered on your wrist.
I am a fan of the double deploy, not much of a fan of the single deploys.

Another update sent via email:

I did get everyone's email who requested the deploy. It was my daughters Bday yesterday so I couldn't respond to emails yesterday

Bday girl is in the middle. The one on the right is my youngest, the one on the left is my niece.

Bummer... so it looks like the probablility of actually having these by SITM is looking preety slim now.

I'm kind of liking that deploy option. Could you please post a picture the shows the clasp near the case so we can have a better idea how close the teo finishes compare?

Thanks

I don't think SITM is out of the question.
But hopefully they'll all make it here with their new shipping date.

I will post pics of the clasp next to the watch in a couple of minutes so everyone can see the difference

If Greece is going to have the same type of delay with the German bailout as we are having with these watches, there will be a civil war over there, lol! Being of Greek descent, I can tell you they are not nearly as patient as this Rennlist crowd!

Hang in there Chris, I know you agonize over the delay thing. I'm not sweating it.

Really cute girls. In a few short years you won't be able to post them in this section w/o serious danger, lol! Fathers with girls get lots of grey hair, I know!

Here are some pics of the deploy.

You can see the the lines in buckle that the case does not have.

Watch situation is turning into a real *CLUSTER*.

One more excuse / delay and I'm bailing out of this mess.

I feel ya Don,
I sent you an email (I am having some email trouble today, no incoming the last few hours but I think outgoing is going through. It's a 1and1 issue they are fixing.)

If I didn't already know this Laco company so well I would question the build quality and the excuses. But they make a fantastic product that is truly made in Germany and they want a perfect product. And they know we can't accept anything but perfect.
I have been selling Laco for years. I know their quality. This is one of the reasons we chose them on this product.

Let me know if the email doesn't make it

I'm happy to wait for the right watch to arrive. I suspect the Icelandic volcano eruptions will cause some sort of delay as well. I have lots of faith in the product, the company and Chris. This is a custom designed watch and like any other custom designed thing (house, car, plane, ...) there are always delays due less to the designer but more about the manufacturing/build process. It is no different with this watch. In the end it will be a great result and enjoyed.
