They are brilliant. Or were brilliant... It was either short sightedness, or miscommunication that killed the beast...Since they were developing the TT setup from scratch and as a new concept, and considering how much time was spent ironing out the frequency vibration problems and materials strength testing, I can imagine they did indeed have TBFs during development. It's probably how the shims and clips came to be in the first place. Fast forward 10 years, and some hotshot thinks the shims and clips don't do anything significant? Not the sharpest tool in the shed. But the factory lived, so it is of no consequence to Porsche.
