Default Any Trouble With Your Order at 928 Specialists?

Before I make a big-to-do-about-nothing, I'm wondering if you guys have experienced any difficulties concerning your orders from 928 Specialists? I ordered some bumper beading for my 928 and was told that would ship right away and it didn't. I called back and Jeanie promised to overnight it, which she didn't. So I called a third time and she swore she would have it to me by Friday and today (Monday), it hadn't arrived. I called her today and she said she's looking into it.

In the meantime, I have my car recently repainted and the repair shop is ready to put the bumpers on, but I don't want to use the old stuff.

Apparently the beading, unlike the others I ordered, are in stock but for some reason, I can't get it.

Any ideas on who I call besides Jeanie?

Edward

Never. They have always exceeded my expectations. Good people.

They are always quick to notify me of back ordered items or items coming from Germany.

have dealt with all at 928 specialists, especially jennie. the only time she ever 'dropped the ball' was on an order i placed on the run up to SITM. she is trying to do 50 million things all at once so give a bit during this time. on ALL other occasions the service from all at Specialists has been FAULTLESS

I've always got my orders lightning fast, even when they said it's a special order item, and may take a bit longer, I still got my order in just a few days.

SITM is a big deal for them and takes a lot of time. Not making excuses for them, and I'm sure they will get the beading to you. Everybody makes a mistake every now and then, so just cut them a little slack.

Jeanie just called and has pulled some favors to get me the beading by tomorrow. So I'll assume for now, this is a closed issue.

Cold Beer, you're right. I'm in the service business and we all drop the ball from time to time. The last thing we need is someone busting our ***** about it. But from what you guys have indicated, this appears isolated and I'll move on.

Thanks.

Ed

Horrible people.
They take money out from my credit card, and ship me parts.
Like damn dealers feeding an addict.

Never seen a foolproof freight/cargo system. Things get lost.

Always had great service even when my springs/suspension package fell into the black hole of customs.

Dave/Jeanie sent a new package while we worked on retrieving the original which eventually was found and returned

Edward,

My apologies for the problem with your order. Things have been a more little crazy than normal around here lately. We have been in the process of switching Porsche reps in the last week or so and Jeannie has been so covered dealing with that fiasco that some mistakes have been made. Hopefully with the much better communication we have with our new Porsche rep and some new additional help we will get better soon.

You should have your bumper beading tomorrow, again my apologies for the delay.

SITM is HUGE and right around the corner, new P-car rep, etc...as noted above, Dave and Jeannie will get it to you...hang tight.

I find it funny all the different spelling for Jeannie! LOL! You guys are great we love you! One of these days I am going to make it to SITM too! I PROMISE!
