Hi

I did think about bringing in the retard from the low quality fuel link as there is an output on the Maxx Extreme Race controller to do it, but may just run progressively without that....

All the best Brett

When you get finished, PM me the details or at least post them on the WON boards. I'm real interested in pushing the limits of my 5.0L block so I have an excuse to speed up on the stroker...

I'm running a 45* linear ramp on my progressive controller. I think I could run a higher slope for quicker power, but I'm not sure how much she will take down low at 25000rpms. Right now I shoot 250RWHP of nitrous at 6000rpms up through 7K, and 125RWHP at 3000rpms, starting at about 100RWHP at 2500rpms. My slope has to be linear. maybe I need a better controller that can add with an exponential slope. ie..100RWHP at 2500rpms and then 350RWHP at 6000rpms. Does your Max Extreme allow you to program jetting for each small rpm band?

Cheers

Hi

The Maxx Extreme Race has 5 settings in EACH gear.....plus 2 windows switches i.e start and finish revs for each gear....which added all together gives almost unlimited progressive control...

Ya need to dial down the boost in 1st gear while you still have some tires left.

Default How civilized America is

Brett could have told me before today that some people liked the video!

I did it as an afterthought with some random camera shots taken one evening going to a British pub in the country.

I added the link at the end to www.itsthe.org to get up the noses of the neo-**** types which the Porsche scene in Britain is plagued with and who jumped on me and Brett after publishing the video on Youtube.

Well, let's get these shots for the technical stuff together now which I've just put onto my machine.

I'll be serving the pain to the neo-***** in Armageddon 3.

RolandUK - Most here in this forum appreciate great efforts in regards to 928s. The only thing we cringe at, wholly, is the wanton destruction of a car. Besides that, creative expression in a technical and or asthetic sense, even if one does not find it their cup of tea, is always acknowledged for effort and completeness of vision. In this, Brett has succeeded immensely.

Welcome to Rennlist 928.

Thank you S2ordie. Whoops, a neo-**** just arrived below you from the UK - I think he's followed Brett and me over here. Sorry about all this chaps - maybe he'll decide to phone up the track and find out about rule changes

Although not everyone's cup of tea, Brett's videos have shown the boost crowd that N2O is no laughing matter.

Yes, the ricer that puts a $350 kit from ebay on his honda is asking for trouble. But for $1500 you get a very technical system, that's safe and on demand. Now can the shark handle 1000hp on a stock bottom end? Can the tranny handle it? We shall see. My thoughts are no, even with a progressive controller, but I really hope Brett proves me wrong. I applaud his efforts.

I had to add meth to consider going over a 250RWHP shot, he's running a 600+RWHP shot. Incredible if it works. Gives me hope I'll tear up 3rd gear before the block.
