Default Go-Karting in SoCal, Poll of location

Okay, I will try it this way.

This is a poll for people to answer as to where they wish to have a Go-Kart Meeting.

K1 speed has a good atmosphere, though the tracks are more busy. Irvine is an option to see if its worth it to include LA and the rest. Carlsbad is included because we have plenty below pendleton to participate if LA people get lazy.

Lastly,
Miramar is included because I like the people who run it, know the guys there, and I like the track. I would bring my son, who is 48 inches tall, and he is very good there as well. The height limit is such that he can go there but NOT the other places.

Carlsbad or Irvine for me.

Better start throwing out dates, you'll get a better idea of who's interested.

I voted Irvine as my first choice but would likely go to any of the locations. If there LA folks want something closer we can always do another event at Anaheim or Ontario or someplace else if anyone has a suggestion.

The karting groups run there. The one I looked at that rents karts is... expensive. Possibly well worth it, but if I'm spending a few hundred bucks then I'll go drive my own car with SpeedVentures or NASA.

I think Morganabowen's still a little sore from the last event.

Hope you'll make it anyway Larry, we'll play nice.

Looks like Irvine is taking a conservative lead.

Good central location if we get a lot of OC/L.A. response. I'm actually quite surprised at the # of Miramar votes! Ron V. must want a day away from L.A.!!

Well, I think if we take this as a test and start to whittle down on a day, we could have a good amount of people. I know that Brian would come if he were to look in, but I do not think he has visited recently.
