if you have comprehensive coverage on your 928 replacement of your windshield is free. Florida has a law regarding this, I have had to replace not only the 928 but my truck windshield as well.

Is it true the antenna embedded windshields are NLA?
Maybe someone was a little aggressive with the rear-view mirror replacement?
When mine fell off in my hand, I was dirt careful gluing the base back on after hearing
of what force on the INSIDE of the windshield will do to the glass.

Oh yeah! I broke the windshield on my daughters 944 (with the internal antenna) by pushing up on the hood too hard. (gas cylinders were shot). hood made contact with the corner of the glass resulting in a nice crack clear from one corner of the glass to the other. After looking for 2 weeks for a replacement, it was fixed... $750 later.... 
If it was still mine, I would have replaced the windshield without the internal wire, and installed an external antenna.
