The HVAC system uses two diameters for the optic runs. For less about $20 I bought some fiber optic cable from thefiberopticstor.com that was pre-wrapped and is pretty close to the right diameter to work for the lager runs. For the smaller diameter runs I removed the sheath and took ~half the cable and some heatshrink tubing (available cheap on ebay). You'll have to engineer a way to put terminate them in the light cavity of the HVAC head, but elec tap, or heatshrink is a good solution there too. Dont buy the solid strand stuff, go with traditional multiwire cable. the reason is that some of the bends are very tight (depending on what you replace) and the solid core isnt bend friendly. here's what I odered - it was plenty to do all the optic runs - I also switched to LEDs when I did mine and I'm glad I did. Regards
