FS-Used 89 GT Factory OE Muffler
Posting this for a friend who is a real straight shooter and long-time PCA member.
Used factory muffler removed from '89GT to install a RMB, fits S-4 87-91 and GT 89-91. No dents, dings, scratches or rust. Twin tips are as new. Dull black shine on heat-shielded tips is unmarked. Tips measure 2-1/2" dia. Dual inlet connections are flanged (OE), with no rust or dents. Price is $75+shipping from VA. Contact Ed at trottier.ed@gmail.com

Ed must've got himself an RMB for his 89 GT. Does anyone know if the rear muffler is the same for a 89GT as a 87-91 S4? I was under the impression the center resonator section was different.

yes its a bolt on I have one on my 88 and also the smaller resonators

Tempting, I want this one..
But, I will try to find one closer, doubt the seller will be pleased to do all the hassle with sending it all the way to Nisse.
Is this muffler different from the S4 (wich equals the one on my '91 GT) muffler?
Not that important, really, I just want one spare, so that I can open up one and do some surgery to improve it.

Is there really a market for used S4 mufflers? I have two (88, 89) sitting in my garage that are about to be hauled off for scrap. I even have a set of the smaller resonators/mid section in the same pile. I sold the cats to Merlin, but the shipping almost doubled the cost.
