Glen, I would really like to be there to meet some Minnesota 928'ers but this is going to be the first halfway nice weekend up here and I need to get all the fluids changed on the Sharke before I take it out for a spin. I cannot access that link on this computer - care to share the route? I need to burn off the gas in my tank so I've been thinking about an all day road trip this Saturday. I doubt I'll be able to meet up with you guys at the start, maybe somewhere along the way?

It looks like I'm about 300 miles away from the lunch meeting spot. What kind of "big city" traffic will I hit during that run? If it's all clear highway, that's a four hour drive and do-able.

On a Saturday in Minneapolis? There won't be a traffic problem but there's road construction in some places. I think it's clear, though, if you come in 94 and swing around The Cities on 494.

My original plan was to be on the road by 6am, drive anywhere and back, be home by 1PM.

I cannot remember why I had to be back by then........maybe I should call Lorelei?

So that means some sort of family engagement on Saturday I forgot about.

With a fresh alignment, transmission flush and oil change, I'm ready.

We had 9 cars for a great run this morning. 8 928s and one doofus in a white 944. A couple of hours of high-energy driving and good times with the local crew.

One car did end up getting flatbedded, but that'll be fixed.

No wildlife was injured this time, but not for lack of opportunity.

There may be a drive next month and there is a dinner party planned for June.

Sorry I missed it. I was not on the road untl 10:30 today. Had a few garage items to work on, one thing led to another........

I have no doubt that Ramon will be back on the road in no time.

He stepped in it coming out of a dead stop and a big (and I mean big) puff of blue and white smoke came out. Compression gone.

I have a video of him trying to turn it over on the side of the road. He was driving an 82. Thoughts from this group will certainly help get her fixed sooner.
