And after removed

If it was so difficult, my hats of to Wilhoit's detail guy. Not that the car didn't look perfect when delivered anyway.

With Porsche anything goes sometimes. This may be one of those cases. Perhaps it's a difference in the way Porsche AG does things vs. the way PCNA does it? The document from PCNA has it listed as 9999. Additionally, all paint codes on these docs from Rixter list paint codes with four digits or a combination of two letters and two digits. For example, black is listed as A1A1.

As far as the painted pin stripes they can be removed. My fathers 75 450SL had hand painted stripes and over time they were beginning to wear off by themselves. There was a local guy who did all the cars back in the 70's painted little hang ten feet on the back. He used car paint and it was wearing so badly my father had a local paint shop remove it. You can't tell it was ever there and no damage to the original paint. Although after it was done my father decided he liked the stripes and had them redone.

Here is what the color chart looks like. There might be similar colors with the same name but different formulas as in the case with my cobalt blue.

All the factory paperwork I have only shows it as a single code like F6 or F8. I think it is just being redundant by double listing it. I also found it interesting that when i pulled my reflector off my turbo there were factory markings in marker that used 37U instead of F6. .

LOL ,there is no such thing as factory pinstripes. They were always done at the dealer and charged as an extra or written into the prep. So those were likely vinyl.
