Well, it's coming up on the second Thursday of the month. Anyone planning to attend?

After last months confusion and how things turned out I was thinking of suggesting it be moved from the Phoenix Club (German-American Club) to the Anaheim Hooters. I'm fine with either location but Hooters is obviously the more, uh, festive location.

Thoughts?

I think you'd be just fine at Hooters. The German bar is still an option too though. Whatever the majority of whoever wants to come decides is fine with me.

Go for Hooters over the German Bar (speaking from experience.....) - btw, that's tomorrow.....

The only downside to Hooters is that there's an Angel's game tomorrow and this place is right next to the stadium and last time I went there before a game they were charging for parking. Even if parking is not an issue that area is a zoo on game nights.

I called the German pub and they said they have no events scheduled for tomorrow night, so no packed house for accordion music like last month.

With all that in mind my suggestion would be to go with the original plan of meeting at The Bierstube at the Phoenix Club. Original suggested time was 7:00 so I'll be there a bit early.

The address is 1340 S Sanderson Ave, Anaheim, CA 92806. Just go in the main building and you'll see the bar straight ahead and just to the left. Don't let the oldsters showing up for ballroom dancing scare you off!

As for Ryan's question I commented to my friend the last time I was there that the Anaheim location has a much, much better staff than the sorry *** Hollywierd one. Reviews on google seem to agree. Maybe those that are so inclined can head over there before or after the Sunday Leroy resurrection party depending on time.

Tonight's Angels game has been cancelled, due to loss of a pitcher last night to a DUI hit-and-run. Schedule resumes tomorrow. Hooters is either a ghost town, or packed with fans who didn't know about the cancellation.

The accordian jam was still going when we left. All in all it was entertaining. Thanks to "Hoops88S4" for making the drive all the way from Redlands to hang out for a bit.

I think the next one is almost certainly going to be at Hooters. I guess the accordian club meets there monthly and whoever I talked to yesterday was unaware of this.
