Default Measuring ride height

I want to make sure I am measuring my front ride height at the correct location. The illustration in my WSM looks different than what I am seeing on my car. The WSM shows a small machined area to measure from. I have a small round dot in the casting on my car. I'm pretty sure this is my target. Just want to make sure before I call it good.

Is that the casting that fastens the rear control arm bushing to the body?
