Default 2V guide clearance

Hi guys,

I searched but couldn't come up with specs while I'm at work. The machine shop called and said my Euro heads came back between 0.0025 - 0.003 inches on all the guides. I know those numbers are ok for domestic stuff, but not sure for the 928? I'm assuming for my street driven car they should be fine. Any input?

Thanks,
John

I do know that the clearances are slightly different for exhaust vs intake. So which side are they talking about?

They are all essentially the same. Usually intake is a little tighter.

I think I have heard 3 thou, but I cannot state that for fact. Depends on the usage. Thats one thing I have always had "somebody do"
