Where does this go
This is a white vac line (yellowed from heat probably), and it is broken off. It comes out of the firewall near the wiper motor, and looks as if it is supposed to go thru a rubber grommet into the engine bay. I don't think it goes to the valve that controls the hvac, since there is another white vac line already going to that. Anyone know?

Hot water valve. There should be a black sleeve that mates to the end of the white hose, and goes to the vac diaphram of the heater valve. That could have been left in place when the original one was replaced. Trace it back, and see if it connects to anything.

Hot water valve.............lines must be very brittle to break.
To get at this one you may consider doing all.............just a 'little' more work.

There will be two that go in to the firewall.
One goes to the HVAC from the 4 way.
One goes from the Heater Control Valve to the HVAC vac assembly.

Is the 4 way near the brake booster?

Yes but the line that goes from the four way through the firewall is the vacuum supply to the HVAC system and is typically black.
The line from the HVAC system through the firewall to the hot water valve is white.
In the first pic the blue line is from the HVAC system through the firewall to the recirc flap.
I'll try to get a pic of the yellow line that goes to the freeze tube at the expansion valve.

that looks like the line that goes to the heater control valve, there might be 2 muti vacuum connectors in your car one is by the brake booster and the other should be on the driverside next to and just behind the MAF

You had me scratchin' my head with the yellow line to the freeze switch.
That is a yellow wire, not tube.
I agree with everyone else who said there are only 2 lines which go thru the firewall into the cabin, typically black (main feed line) and white (to heater control valve).

Yes Malcolm, I do, but that is a wire for the ac probe. I just had that all apart for my blower box/recirc flap R&R. Not a vacume connection.

Okay Jim, I will have to re-look at my water/heater control valve. It is connected now by a white vac line that I can't see where it is comming from.

With the air filter housing (upper and lower) removed you should be able to locate the vac line at the hot water valve and trace it back to the firewall. Once through the firewall it locates to the HVAC solenoid assembly under the centre console.
