That looks like the same car, it has polished Cup wheels like that.

Question

Ad is gone. Did someone here report it for fraud for some fraudulent reason?

The autotrader ad might have expired. It's still on cars.com: http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...eadExists=true

Hey guys, to be fair and not make anyone mad at me, I give everyone that PM'd me about this car the exact same info (all that I had). So, may the best man win. Hopefully it will not be bought for parts, but will be put back on the road where it belongs. The car looks very saveable to me in the pictures, but up close and in person it may be a goner and good for parts only. Let's hope not.

Oh... my... god...

Thats the car.

How can I contact the seller?
If anyone happens to buy the car, I know it inside and out, and depending on the buyer, I may have some pieces. I also know what it was purchased for at auction.
I believe the guy is Lloyd from Northern Lights Leasing who bought it. Not surprised that its in the same condition it was years ago...

P.S.
If anyone sees Phil Threshie, send him my 'kindest' regards

My number is 425-280-8598. I only heard of this post from a fellow 928 buddy, and I'm not on here much.

Thanks guys. And yes, that car in the registry is also the same car.

Just spoke to Rob Edwards and worked out a couple options for a plan to get this car back on the road.

If anyone is 'in line' to buy this car, or is in negotiation with Lloyd, I say we all get it out in the open and keep the $ real here.

He bought it for $4500 at auction, payed about $1000 to ship it, and is asking $8500 and has put no money into above purchase and shipment. Being that we all now this now publicly, and us 928 guys stick together, he will have to lower his price with our new knowledge.
I am in no way willing to help Lloyd, but if a 'lister wants to purchase the car, I'm willing to be very generous in helping get the details done, and extend the same offer to the right buyer that I have to Rob.

If you're looking at buying the car, please call me. As of last week, I'm in no position to buy this car unfortunately, as much as I'd like to.

It has no title, and to get one, it has to be run through the Washington DMV to get that all squared away.

So, call me up if you need!
Wish I could get it myself, but I just don't have the funds.

Barry,

I just spoke with Rob and he gave me the scoop.

I had called Lloyd this afternoon and spoke to him about the car and I think Rob and I have a pretty good plan for this car actually. I am working out some numbers now but I think its something I will move on assuming Rob passes the torch to me.

I am going to contact some DMV offices in CA, WA and CO and see what i can find out there but your offer sounds great and I think we can work some kind of solution out to get the car back on the road.

Excellent!
I'll be looking forward to a call from either of you, this should turn out pretty good in the end.

Over and out...

Did someone buy this car? I am thinking about incurring my wife's wrath if not.

If you're talking about the midnight blue/grey 94 AT, it just went up on eBay so I'm guessing not yet....

If you're talking about the midnight blue/blue 93 5M w/o motor, pretty sure it's still available. Seller said he is not going to part it out.

Actually was thinking about the 5-speed car in the original post.
