I swiped the photo from the local GT Challenge website from this past weekend's season opener in Cape Town. At first I thought it looked kinda photoshopped, but the photo is for real. Just the angles, I guess...
That little 993 left me for dead down the straights, but I gave him hell in the corners, tried to intimidate him left right and centre, but he kept his head. Once I tried to pass him around the outside in a hairpin (i think that's where this pic was taken), but he eventually got away from me.
After that I got involved in a titanic battle with his mate in a 997 GT3 Cup car and gave him hell too. At one spot I was tucked under his rear wing, waved at him when he checked where I was in his mirrors and he cracked and let me through! I went ha-ha-ha but just as I thought I had him the bastard came blasting past me down the back straight BWAAAA...
I need more HP, just an extra fifty ponies or so, so I can give these guys some serious ****. Be that as it may, I had a blast and enjoyed the racing. And I'm really starting to enjoy the car now...
Cheers,
Pierre.
