Default 928 Rescue

A couple of years ago I rescued a 82 928 with the competition pkg and a 5 speed. I finally got around to starting on the car. The first thing was remove the cross member and oil pan so I can fix the leaks and update to the newer style motor mounts. I also put S4 suspension on for the bigger brakes. I am lucky that my neighbor works for a powder coating company. He coated my cross member and mounts. Next is going to be the TB and water pump along with every seal and gasket in front.
So heres my starting point

good work.
I was asking John if the S4 suspension can go on a 16 valve car and he mentioned your project.
the powder coating looks nice.

Cam covers or rear cam seals. Clean it up, get it running first, then find out where the leak it is.

If it is the heads, could be a fun project.

Thanks for the call to help you! Thought that was our agreement.

You working on it Sat or Sunday?

Heck, yank that motor and just do it all and be done with it.

This just reminds me how much work I have to get done on my car. But good luck, if I'm in town when you're doing work on her, I'd be more than willing to come help turn wrenches. I'll come help with the TB/WP and in return I'll get to use the lift for my oil pan gasket

Oh and the oil leak is probably the rear cam tower seals, mine are doing it too and it's something I hope to be replacing soon.

The leak is too far forward to be rear cam seals. Oil covers the complete exhaust manifold. Probably can't see that in the pictures.

Brad, yes I plan on taking the TB and water pump off this weekend. Then start on the oil seals. I thought you may want to do the front main seal, your specialty.
