Fuel return line
I'm in the process of reinstalling a stock fuel pressure regulator and return line (and removing the BEGI boost adjustable regulator which had been inline).
Can someone please confirm:
For an S4, the flexible end of the fuel return lines mounts to the hard point on the firewall, and the metal U shaped end mounts to the fuel pressure regulator?
It seems intuitively like it should be the opposite, but when I test mount it with the metal U screwed to the fuel return at the firewall, the other end of the hose is one the wrong side of the car, or it's facing the rear of the car.
Someone please tell me I'm not crazy, or better yet, a picture is worth a thousand words. I'd search, but we all know how that's been going lately...

Perfect. I figured it had to be this way, but just wanted to be sure. I'm trying to go for some period of time without yanking off the SC and manifold again. Thanks very much!

I had my engine rebuilt in 2003 and it got all new rubber then. The hose I'm reinstalling hasn't been on the car from 2004-present (due to the supercharger), but I went ahead and bought a new one anyway. I figure it's cheap insurance and I don't want to get back in there anytime soon.
