Default Time to sell my Super Charged Auto 87 S4 Porsche GODS have SPOKEN

Well' It seems like the Porsche Gods of Speed have spoken to me. No interest in my 928 and that is fine. Drove it again after a long winter and selling it has again faded from my mind.

Cliff

Time has come to sell my 87 SC S4. I will be posting it in the Market place this weekend after I get some good photo's. Andrew and some of the Detroit Gang have seen it and it is a very nice car. I am the 3rd owner TBWP brakes done in 07.

Yes it is a Murph Kit installed by Yoda himself and dialed in. Here is what I have 87 S4 85K miles I had the TBWP done 6/07 at 80K miles now has 85K. Had Brakes and Rotors done at same time I also had Mila Cup wheels installed and bumped it up one size in 06. Did the RMB X Pipe had the injectors re done new plug wires and caps. In 07 as well I had a gasket on the Torque Converter start leaking and had Steinel's AutoWerks fix that. Had the whole rear end removed and fixed what they needed. (to 07 was a ver expensive year spent $7K on maintence) Also have Piller mounted Boost and Rich Lean gauges. Had new switches done in Drives seat & tinted windows. I think I have close to $29K in the car and think $18K is a fair price for it with all of the updates. I also have the lift bars 2 car cover's, have the fenders cover's for working on it. Also still have the Cat's for it as well for those that would need them. I am sure there is more that I have not thought of and I think the SC kits are now $6K and to have it insalled by Tim is bonus.

Will get Pictures this weekend. Raining here I am quessing on the this from what I have seen some nice cars are going for $12-15K throw in the work that has been done and the SC. I have a very nice car with low miles, so time will tell and we will see what happens. I do have records for it from the last 15 years.

What are the rwhp/rwtq numbers with a properly tuned S/C??? Just curious. I know we have some guys in the mid 400's and I think they are running S/C's...vs. Turbo's...

Stage 1 - 400rwhp
Stage 2 / 3 - 500+rwhp (some cars are in the 550+rwhp range)

Stage 2 uses stock fuel injectors with an FMU to increase fuel pressure with boost.
Stage 3 has 42lb injectors with shark tuned chips and stock fuel pressure

Clif - I have some pics from the install weekend if you would like me to post them.

This is from the first stage 1 install:

This is the first stage 3 install:

Both of these charts are from the same car. A 1987 Automatic Tim's wife takes to the grocery store

As many of you here already know, I have always supported anyone who has one of my kits on their car whether they were the original purchaser or have come into possession of the kit be it on a car they purchased or otherwise. There are some unwritten rules but in the case of Cliff's car I stand by my commitment to offer this support.

Cliff, it will be a shame to see you go. I think you were contemplating this about a year ago or so and then thought better of it. Good luck with it and in the future. Stop by the 'list every once in a while and say hi. Hopefully you'll get another 928 and be back someday (maybe you'll do what Chuck did and buy your own car back !).

Well since there is no divorce settlement involved (at least I hope not :-) I will say that is one HECK OF A DEAL on a Murf 928. Somebody needs to snag this one at that price!

Cliff, good luck with the sale, but get those pics up ASAP while this thread is "hot", it will help move it much quicker.
