Default Trim & mirror removal advice

Getting the 85 Euro stripped I have the real hatch trim off, spoiler off and two vertical strips on the windshield. I have not found much info on removing the top trim on the windshield or door trim. Also the mirrors is there a connector in the door I could not see it but it's getting dark.

The mirrors are attached by a bolt that passes through the mirror housing.

Push the mirror forward, remove the small 'plastic' cover, then unscrew the bolt. You do have to get at the wiring by removing the glass...........done that?

Are you speaking about the mirror glass or door glass seems the wiring goes through a small opening in the mirror frame, mirror is off and hanging from the door. On my 82 Areo aftermarket there was a place to insert a screw driver to remove the mirror glass how about the 85.

Mirror glass.............my '88 OEM flag mirrors had a hole at the bottom of the housing to allow a small screwdriver to move the ring that captures the glass.

Once the glass is off you'll see the mirror motors and the wiring.

No hole I think they are glued on but need to be sure!
And yes Shawn it has begun actually the inside is stripped and the removal and sanding is next. I am picking up a new interior Sat in DeLand.

NOW any hints on the window and door trim removal?

Looking for a pin removal tool for the electrical connectors. I need to remove the pins on the mirror to get the cable out!

Also any hints on the door molding removal!

Dean Fuller helped me get the top trim off my windsheild. (he installed vinyl roof for a living in a former life) The trim just pushes down into some clips that are pop riveted to the body of the car. You can use anything thin to pry it off with, just protect the glass. We used one of those door panel removal tools since it had a slight angle to it. Just go easy. Excuse my crude drawing. hope this helps.
