Why not turn your car into the Sunday Tech session. Dismantle Saturday night, re-assemble Sunday morning. It usually goes something like this....
"Oh crap I just dropped something"
"What was it?
"Don't know, don't care... not my car! We'll figure it out later. Hey can you get me another beer?"
"Sure. Here you go!"
"Thanks."

Since my motor is currently all over my garage, I don't have a very solid contingency plan - more like a deadline.

It was a might lonely stopping to refill the water every hour or two on skyline...
of course it did save me from a bit of trouble last year as the group, well, was forced to stop for a break...
