I've missed the last four. I'm in this year. Gonna drive up the RV and tow the shark. With out the extra weight this year... I'm going for me.

BTW is there a paddock for mixbreeds? Since my shark has too much rice in it's blood to park with the regular Arians....

That's easy Sterling,
Just park a friend on both sides! You might find someone who would let their shark get close to yours and hope it doesn't make it TOO jealous.....

I was thinking you could just buy a car cover that says 'Camaro' on it. No one would mess with it.

Sterling-

You are kidding, right? We ALL are in the same boat!
For all your posting about the months of repair and simultaneous mods - isn't it time you really DRIVE it?

Come on!
Don't be a ... well, you know
Man up! Enjoy the ride!!
It's still just a car. . .They all are 'special' - to EACH of us!

Sterling, A year is ridiculous, whoever kept your car that long should have been embarrassed to get paid. I know you got a quality job in the end though! As an example, mine just underwent a nut and bolt takedown and a factory single stage repaint, and it was on the long side of 7 weeks.

I wonder how many nuts and bolts they took down....

The 86.5 that went for a salt water swim might make it this year...
I've been working on that one for +3 years...
I hope it will be ready..... believe me - that one has had "every" nut and bolt stripped off and coated.....
I'm already looking at bringing the '85 though.....
And yes - a year in a body shop for a perfectionist that has more than one project is about right! I don't think Sterling is coming out with a single stage paint....
One of my friends was just over and looked at the 86.5. He said it's the last car they would ever want.
I asked why...
"Buddy - I was in enough fights when I was younger - anyone even so much as breaths on that car and your gonna punch their clock!"
Bring it on Sterling.... You should have seen how protective I was when people started looking at my old Euro last year....

I figured they were after parts...

Mike, Sterling doesn't partake in adult beverages. I'll take that beer in his honor.

Awfully big of you.

Last year I won a round of beers in a bet with some of the DFW folks for a certain football game in which my local team may or may not have dismantled their local football team. I wonder if I can collect this year?

After getting rid of PacMan and T.O., the DFW gang should be happy enough to buy a round of beers for everybody. Those 2 guys were killing the Cowboys.

I am a KC Chiefs fan, so I will be wearing a paper bag over my head with 2 eyeholes cut out in it.

Now back to topic:

Chiefs/Bronco's fan here, hate the "boys". They should have kept them, and added Vic to the team.

Ah, probably past the statute of limitations by now. The Cowboys got their revenge on my Giants this year.

Oh, I fully understand where you are coming from.
I do not think that a couple of months is enough time to let the solvents come out of the primers, fillers, and who knows what else they use.
If you do not wait long enough between steps, you will be doing parts of it over if you are looking for a show quality job.

I have had 3 that took less or more than a year to finish at a body shop.

I have done a couple of drivers that have been done in 3 weeks, after a year it looked like they had been done in 3 weeks.
