I like the diamond design with the reinforcement pad look very much.

It seems it would be somewhat consistent with rest of the black leather interior on our 84, which has a number of stitched seems accentuated already. Perfect match in the inspiration car, though.

They day I win the lottery, Paul, to you will be one of the first phone calls I place.

Paul,
Beautiful work, as all your "vast productions" in leather are. THANKS from so many of us for the improvements you've made in our personal enjoyment of the 928's.

These are pretty cool looking. Are there any benifits to this pattern or is it just for looks?

Actually, this particular technique of upholstery, as been around since the time of the horse carriage. When done properly, the pattern creates a comfortable, aerated seating surface, that is in effect, the ancestor of our modern ventilated seats.

For those who want more details on this technique and other examples, please follow this link: http://www.designpaulchampagne.com/Diamonds.html

Quilted Pasha leather for ventilated comfort?
Can imagine the 'fun' cutting those little different foam rectangles to pop up the pasha pattern.

Last car I sat in with quilted diamonds felt pretty comfortable. Then again so does anything that goes 200+ mph.

Very, very nice. The more I look at them, the more I like them.
That design gives a very luxury look to the seats.
Not sure if I would put them in a Boxter, but in a 928, it will be a blast for sure.

Keep the good work Paul.

EEP! I must be the only one who doesn't like it!

Paul, I love your work (you know) but the diamond pattern does nothing for me. Oh well, horses for courses.

Still longing for a (midnight blue) pasha leather interior .. one day. I'll be in touch!

That's quite alright Len,

not one design idea can rally everyone. But as long as I've got you hooked with something, I'm happy

David-

You are absolutely right. The ultimate 928 set as far as I'm concerned.
