Picked up this little gem a few weeks ago, a 2003 Yamaha TT-R90. Lots of fun. It will be good for when we go to horse events, and for ripping around the back yard.

Next to the KTM:

Plan is to take the suspension, wheels, and disc brakes off of this SSR pit bike and put them on the TTR. Then install a tall seat, tall bars, extended shift lever, etc on it.

My teenage daughters have been loving ripping around on the 90, thinking of picking up a TTR-125 or something for them.

I really like that FJR. It's along the lines of the Concours 14. Although not as pricey as the BMW Ks, they're up there. I was all set on a Concours 14:

which I had committed myself to buying to replace my Concours 10:

..until I checked this Triumph Sprint ST out yesterday

It comes with all kinds of high-end touring accessories..immaculate.

The Sprint is much, much lighter, handles beautifully, great power through the powerband, great brakes w/ABS..however not as comfortable as a long-range tourer, less-effective fairing, and not much of a 2-up bike.
Have any of you guys owned a Sprint ST? Jeff, still have your Sprint?

Ex-rider here....I sold all three of my bikes after my last wreck (shattered my ankle in 2005 & needed 3 screws).

That's why I bought my Porsche that year..

Just completed a really epic ADV ride ...WABDR.com

707 miles up the middle of WA state over the Cascade mountains. 6 epic days!

EDIT: My ride is/was a 95 KLR 650 ("Barbie" color scheme) 2" raise, full alum skid plate, saddle bags.

My 1986 Honda VF1000R. Pretty rare bike, made for endurance road racing. Heavy, but it had "on the fly" adjustable suspension, V4 cam-driven gears, Comstar wheels, Yoshimura race pipe, Mikuni flat slide carbs. Used for track days back when PPIR, Second Creek Raceway and Mountain View were still open. My next bike (after I "finish" the 928S) will be a V-MAX with nitrous, air shifter, and wheelie bars for some 1/4 mile fun! Old bikes that I've sold: 1986 Honda VFR750, 1985 Yamaha FZ750, 1986 GSXR 750R Limited Edition (wish I had kept that one!).

Nice red triumph, triumph make a lot of good looking bikes. I like their stuff. That 75 Kawasaki looks very comfortable and like new. A classic.

Couple months back I was able to have a 45 minute demo ride of the 2012 BMW S1000 RR at the local dealers demo day run by BMW USA. 193hp, 0-60 in 2.67, 1/4 mile in 9.6. It was a blast. I was able to test the acceleration about 10 times during the ride from a stop. Very solid bike, great workmanship.

The red and white one --

Default ONE OF MY USED-TO BEs

Got a KAWASKAI A-7 Avenger on my way back from 'NAM in '68. Fastest 350cc road bike I could get that year. Big enough to cruse Interstates in Calf, light enough to take in the dirt. Rode all over Calf. on it S.F. area down to San Diego & back. Went on leave and rode cross-country in 6 days!! Got out to New Jersey and then was hit by a car!! Put me in the Phila. Naval Hospital for 10 months while they put me back together. Did I learn anything?? Like in JAWS "I need a bigger bike!" Then got a '70 sportster XLH. Big enough to be seen, loud enouhg to be heard, Heavy enough to do some damage! The last of the 900cc bikes before the bowling ball maker took over. Got turned into a hood ornament twice on my "SPORTY" Finally realized I was'nt 10 ft tall and bullitt proof after all, despite surviving 13 months in 'Nam during TET. I still like bikes but now I work in a hospital and don't want to be in there as a customer. Maybe its different in other states but here the cops don't ride bikes and there arn't many HELLs ANGELS here, so drivers don't care if they hit you or not.
