Headlamp leveling
Hi all
Just can't stop repairing this car!! The new project is getting the headlamp leveling system to work (so what if I never need to use it...it's there, it should work!) The white nylon tubing breaks at the slightest touch so I'm looking for replacements, does anyone know where I can get this stuff? I probably need quite a few meters of it. The parts catalogue doesn't give a part number...I think.
Thanxs to all.

That's got to be a vexing question, even for the vendors. I doubt you'll ever need to use it unless you're hauling bags of concrete at night. Post some pictures.

I have that setup on my car and it is also not working. I really have no plans to fix it but I do want to address the fact that wi the system not working I have to drive with the highbeams on at night to get decent lighting. I don't know if there is a way to fix the lights at a non tilting system position, if that makes any sense.

You need to buy the whole system, comes with adjustment ****, tubing and pistons. Partnr is 928 631 220 01. New from porsche @ 167 Euro. Alternatively you can install the electric version which is installed as of MY90. Alan can tell you how to do this conversion.

There is also a plastic piece that replaces the adjuster in the headlight bucket, P/N 928.631.201.02. Installing this will lock the headlights in one position so you can adjust them properly. If it's not available used you might be able to find the part at a breaker.
