He's got it on ebay too with a pic of the interior. It's not a Weissach.

I really wish I could get some of what he's smoking though.

Maybe someone should go kick the tires and take some photos?

Maybe he took better care of it, because he thought he had something special?

The price sounds pretty high, though.

Porsche advises repair estimate is $300.00.
Lets see a shop take the pod out and have the OD fixed for $300

Maybe he got confused and put one too many zeros on the price and left one off of the estimate for the odometer repair?

It's a $30 part and an hour and a half by my own estimate. I thought $300 sounded a bit high, but probably right for a dealership.
