Sharktuner should come with the round 19-pin connector for MY '89-95.

I'm going to guess that the harness branch from the diagnostic port was cut somewhere between the port and the fuse panel?

The port branch is part of the instrument cluster harness (AFAIK). So you'll need to find such a harness that comes without the car attached. Or find the harness branch that's been cut? and graft on a new 19-pin plug with some additional lengths of wire. John Speak might be able to source the plug.

Ed,

I would look around back near the computers etc, hopefuly it just got moved. If not let me know, I should have one here.

Sounds like another hack job by one of those "stereo guys" :-(

Heh? You'd think that since he can get one side of the plug he could get the other?

Hi Dave,
That diagnostic connector is another example of Porsche getting a manufacturer to make a special "Porsche only" part for their cars.

These connectors have never been available as spares. I am told any stock Porsche did have has long since gone.

This is why our version of the 19way plug has to be CNC machined.

Ah! Thanks John.

That's one more bit of info that lets folks know how far you've had to go to make the Shark Turner.

In my extensive searches, I was only able to find the plug side, not the harness side:
