on post # 2 thats basicly what I need (its supposed to be a rough drawing of the port looking at it from the side). C is the diameter B is the distance from surface of the port to were its divided for the two valves(that sharp split). E is the distance from the sharp split to the valve surface, and A is the diameter for each of the holes for the valves. the drawing is showing the big port oppening C then it splits in to two at a sertain dept with diameters of A.

B = 2.3805 (angled from horizontal surface)

E= 1.5820 (average from the middle area of the valve - the valve is canted from straight down from the split)

A= 110% of whatever the valve size is. IIRC its 35mm or so. Ask someone who has a head apart with no valves in it to measure the valve bowl diamter exactly. My heads are assembled on the motor, so I can only put feelers down so far.

You must understand that the port SURFACE is horizontal. It goes in at about 19 degrees from that level, and then starts to turn down. So B is technically a measurement of the CENTER of the divider up at an angle to the horizontal surface of the port.

If I was doing this I would want specific info as to WHERE I should be measuring for these numbers. Garbage in, garbage out on these sort of things.

true. the reason I want B and C is to measure the volume of that section. then this volume will be input to those blue squares you see on the model. one of the ways I can see to measure the volume correctly is if someone is willing to fill the port with putty until the split parallel to the port opening surface. then use a graduated cylinder to fill the hole with water to get the volume.
those two yellow lines you see coming from the blue square to the cylinder are those two ports for the valve. for example lets say the valves are out. then I would measure the diameter right where the split starts then the diameter of were it end before where the valve actually closes flush with the surface. then I need the distance from the surface of where the split starts to the surface of the valve face. I have not looked inside a 928 port but if its curved or in an angle I can input all of those, if you can measure it for me. all those yellow lines are not defined yet, their supposed to be black when I put values in them.
just ask me any information you need from the model , if you see anything wrong or unusual let me know.

My heads are on the car, assembled. So I cannot do these valve bowl measurements.

But the ones I gave you are as exact as I can get.

if no one has a 32 valve head out of their car, then I can do it with a 16 valve.
either engine does not matter to me if I can get more info for the 16 valve types then Ill do a 16 valve model.
